These are free Grade 7 school tests for every subject a child writes in Grade 7. Pick a subject above, pick a topic, and the test starts straight away. There is no sign-up, no advertising, and nothing is stored.
They are Grade 7 CAPS tests: every topic follows the CAPS curriculum, and every question is originally written and checked. We tested our topic lists against more than 400 real South African November and term papers to make sure the tests cover what schools actually ask — not just what we assumed they ask.
Use them as quick Grade 7 assessments. Every answer shows immediately whether it is right, with a short explanation of why, so a child learns while practising instead of only finding out at the end what went wrong.
Which subjects are covered?
The Grade 7 tests here cover English Home Language, Afrikaans First Additional Language, Natural Sciences, Technology, Social Sciences: History, Social Sciences: Geography, Economic and Management Sciences and Life Orientation. Mathematics has its own site, where every sum is generated with fresh numbers so a child never meets the same question twice.
Within each subject the topics are grouped by the two papers, exactly as the school's exam timetable divides them. A child can revise for Paper 1 without wading through Paper 2's work.
How to use the tests
Start with the subject where the last report showed the weakest mark. Do one topic at a time rather than a long session — five to ten minutes a day beats one long evening before the test. Repeat a topic a few days later: the questions come in a different order and you quickly see what has really stuck.

Built from real past exam papers
We did not write these quizzes from a textbook. We analysed more than 400 real primary school exam papers — November papers, term tests and official ANA question papers from Grade 4 to Grade 7 — and pulled out each paper's topic list and mark allocation.
Those past papers showed us where our quizzes fell short. Where a grade 7 test paper examined a topic we had missed, we wrote it in. Where we covered something that appeared in no paper at all, we corrected it. That is why these primary school tests cover what schools actually ask.
We could only do this because real exam papers reveal a pattern you cannot guess at: which topics return every year, how many marks each carries, and how the questions are phrased.

What Grade 7 is tested on in November
The November sitting does not test the whole year — it mainly tests Terms 3 and 4, with parts of the first two terms resurfacing. That is why every quiz here covers the whole year's topics rather than only the last term's.
The subjects with two papers — Natural Sciences, History, Geography and Life Skills — split the year's work in half. The quizzes follow that split, so a child can practise for whichever paper comes first.

Start with the subject where the last report showed the weakest mark. If there is no obvious weak spot, start with Natural Sciences — it is the subject with the most facts to remember.
How long does one quiz take?
You choose: 10, 25 or 50 questions. Ten questions usually takes five to ten minutes.
Are my child's scores stored?
No. We ask for no name or email address, and once you close the page the score is gone.
